Executive Leadership and Board of Directors
Clinton Gregory – Executive Director
Clinton Gregory is a native of Savannah Ga. where he was an accomplished athlete at Benedictine Military School. He continued his academic and athletic excellence by graduating from Georgia Southern University with a BS in Political Science and Arabic while being a standout on 2 championship football teams. Clinton’s professional career has proven to be as stellar as his athletic accomplishments where he excelled as a marketing analyst for Georgia Pacific and an executive sales manager for Clear Channel media.
After having his hip replaced, in 2001 at age 30, Clinton discovered the purpose that has navigated his life since. Acknowledging the overwhelming evidence of how obesity had become an epidemic, Clinton became a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor and advocate for creating healthier environments to counter the epidemic rise of childhood obesity.
In 2005 he was tapped to be a member of then Governor Sonny Purdue’s obesity task force where he was instrumental in building collaborations with stakeholders at the state and local level. In 2007 he served on Savannah’s Mayor Otis Johnson’s “Healthy Savannah” initiative to transform the city into a pedestrian friendly community. Creating healthy environments to augment wellness programs designed to improve quality of life for all, especially youth, is the passion that ignites Clinton Gregory, executive director of Youth Change America, into action.
